OOS Initial Application - South University  Program Description

The RN to MSN program has four areas of specialization, resulting in a program ranging from 213 to 227 quarter credits. The didactic elements of the program are entirely online and the students participate through their personal computers and any ancillary equipment. The practica associated with each program is student organized and an ARNP or licensed physician mentors the student. The application declares its aim as ‘designed to develop and enhance the knowledge and skills of registered nurses.’ South University itself will not have a physical presence in Maryland.It has four specializations in: (i) Nurse Administrator(ii) Nurse Educator(iii) Adult Health Nurse Practitioner(iv) Family Nurse PractitionerThe MSN program has four areas of specialization, resulting in a program ranging from forty-eight to sixty-two quarter credits.
